Artidor Explosion Safety B.V. was founded in 1986 and is specialized in the development and production of explosion-safe products. Thanks to our extensive knowledge of explosion safety and many years’ experience in engineering and R&D, Artidor is one of the most innovative companies in the market. Flexibility and quality are paramount in this.
In our well-equipped workshop, Artidor’s specialists design customized explosion-safe solutions, usually based on existing products. They ensure that all the original characteristics, such as the well thought-out design and the product’s ease of use and installation, are retained as much as possible. If necessary, also the ATEX and IECEx certification for the product is arranged through a Notified Body. A number of these unique explosion-safe products are introduced to the market as Artidor products and are available from stock.
As well as the custom solutions, Artidor develops and manufactures products for clients who put them on to the market under their private label. Thanks to our experience and systematic approach, these projects are well-managed and offer our clients new opportunities on the market.

Corporate Social Responsibility at Artidor:
Working Together for a Sportive and Healthy Future
At Artidor, we believe in the power of social responsibility and actively contribute to the communities in which we operate. We are proud of our involvement in local initiatives that promote health, wellbeing and social cohesion. We do this not only through our business activities, but also through partnerships that create a positive regional impact.
Examples of these partnerships are our collaborations with swimming club Thalassa and running and walking club LOGO, two leading sports associations in the Geldrop-Mierlo, Heeze-Leende and surrounding regions. These partnerships are a strong example of how we put Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) into practice. We support both associations because we believe in the power of sport to strengthen not only physical health, but also social connections.
Swimming club Thalassa aims to promote and make swimming accessible to residents of the region. The club offers a wide range of activities for all ages and levels. From competitive swimming and water polo to synchronized swimming and aquakids, Thalassa provides a place for every swimmer. With both recreational and competitive departments, the club plays a key role in encouraging a healthy lifestyle within the community.
LOGO is the running and walking association of Geldrop and surrounding areas, where sport, health and connection are central. Everyone is welcome, from beginners to experienced athletes. Through training at various levels, members can exercise safely and responsibly, on paved paths and in nature. The club promotes an active lifestyle, social engagement and respect for the environment. With expert guidance, an inclusive atmosphere and events such as the Midwintertrail and Strabrechtseheideloop, LOGO contributes to a vital and connected community.
What particularly appeals to Artidor is the emphasis that both Thalassa and LOGO place on sportsmanship, team spirit and enjoyment. While athletic performance is important, they also value a culture of cooperation and respect. These values strongly resonate with our company philosophy, where we believe that a positive and inclusive culture is the key to both personal and collective growth. Thalassa and LOGO provide their members with a safe and motivating environment to practice their sports, ensuring that everyone – from young beginners to experienced swimmers and runners – feels welcome and valued.
